I danced my way through my childhood in San Juan, Puerto Rico. I began teaching Zumba in Dallas, receiving my certification in 2010. As an instructor, I was inspired by seeing my students connect to their inner spark with joyful movement. I found Zumba to be a powerful practice for setting women free from their mental insecurities about their size, shape and skill.Conscious of the power of physical movement to influence change, I began exploring another movement-based practice...yoga. I received my 200 hour Yoga Certification with a focus on Hatha and Tantra in 2014. I absolutely love seeing my students find a balanced approach to wellness in their lives as they connect body and mind through the breath.This path towards finding balance through movement is one that I have traveled myself. I have suffered through years of anxiety, depression, eating disorders and body dysmorphia which has led me down the path of healing with movement, self love and self acceptance. I have since made it my purpose to help guide women on the path of self love by finding a balanced approach to mind & body wellness - one without obsession. Sparked by this movement, in 2018 I obtained my certification as a life coach. Using my own life experience along with the tools of yoga, life coaching, joyful movement, body positivity, and intuitive eating I launched my own business, Move to Love You. I am extremely passionate about guiding other women who feel they are at war with their minds and their bodies to find that inner spark that will lead them towards freedom, peace, joy and balance in their overall lives.
