The year was 2020. From endless lockdowns in Melbourne and restrictions on working, two best friends came together with one vision to create a business that was considered an essential service, and to create a brand that could weather any storm.Best mates George & Calym have both worked as movers in the past, so they knew exactly what was missing in the market and how they could bring a youthful, vibrant and refreshing approach to an industry that lacks enthusiasm. With experience in the trade and owning other businesses, the pair were able to sit down at the drawing board and get creative. It was a collective idea built on turning a negative situation into a positive during isolation and lots of time to really think about what they could do as a brand.So ahead the boys went by kicking things off getting small jobs here and there through word of mouth and leveraging off doing exceptional work for their clients to gain repeat business. George & Calym are fitness maniacs that are addicted to the gym, playing sports, and having a healthy lifestyle, so this type of work was just second nature to them and they really love what they do!The vision is just getting started for Moving & Grooving, and in a short span of existence were able to scale the business and build a culture, that will last hundreds and thousands of years to come.You know the vibes…
