Moving Together Devon is a not for private profit social enterprise aimed at older and less able people, who either know their home is unsuitable for them and need to move or would like help adapting their current property if that would be more suitable for their long term needs. Integral to this is our social mission to enable people to take control of the process.We will help as much or as little as each individual needs and offer practical and emotional support, ranging from helping find a new home, sorting belongings, dealing with other professionals, right through to moving in. Equally we will support those who wish to consider adaptations by providing information and advice to enable the individual to make an informed choice on the suitability of their home in the long term.Carole Smyth has over thirty years' experience as an Occupational Therapist working in the community and housing sector, advising on adaptations, equipment and housing optionsShe also ran a successful business from 1996 -2015 Calido Occupational Therapy Services Ltd in London.Moving Together Devon is a culmination of her two working passions, housing and Occupational Therapy
