Founded in 2000, MOXI Digital developed the MOXI Media Center, a total home entertainment solution that enhanced and simplified the consumer experience while providing new revenue opportunities for broadband operators. The MOXI Media Center was a low-cost replacement for a digital cable or satellite set-top box that integrated Digital Video Recording, Music Jukebox, DVD player, and an Internet Gateway into one device that wirelessly networked video, audio, and broadband connectivity throughout the home. MOXI was deployed by Comcast, Time Warner, Charter, and Adelphia cable TV networks, among others. The MOXI Media Center won the 2002 Consumer Electronics Show Best of Show award in all categories.
