We are MOZAIC.We are a student run company consisting of 20 sixth-formers aged 16-17 from Colchester Royal Grammar School. We are taking part in the Young Enterprise Company Programme, a charity organisation that aims to promote leadership and teamwork in the younger generation.We are focussed on eliminating cultural discrimination at its source: childhood. Racism is a major issue engrained into British school culture and educating our children about our differences will eliminate a future generation of divide.Key Stage 2 literacy levels have decreased following the COVID-19 pandemic, resulting in many disadvantaged students falling further behind than before. We aim to improve literacy skills at a primary level by teaching young people with cultural folk tales to open their minds to the vibrant cultures that make up the world we live in today.We have crafted a book designed to appeal to the younger generation to teach them about the cultural issues in society. There is also online content, information and quizzes to supplement the book.We also believe in environmental sustainability. We offer a digital e-book so that we can eliminate the need to print on paper completely.
