Mr. Sleboggan, Inc. manufacture's Sleboggans. A Sleboggan is a steering device for many of today's plastic toboggans. It allows a person laying on a toboggan, and holding a Sleboggan with their hands, to steer a path down a snow covered hill. The underside is fiber-glassed and has three steel runners for positive control. A person controls speed by dragging their feet. On July 8, 2014, William Herrick, President of Mr. Sleboggan, Inc. received Patent Number US 8,770,596 B2 for his "Device For Steering A Toboggan." Bill called his invention a Sleboggan. and started Mr. Sleboggan, Inc. in August of 2011 to manufacture his invention. The first production model was called a Link I. There are now two additional models the Griffin and the Link II. These Sleboggans are named after his grandsons and Bill now has four grandchildren so expect a couple more models to be revealed in a couple of years.
