Upon relocating in 2013 from Sacramento, California to Norfolk, Virginia, Proprietor Joan Wilkening wanted to develop a unique shopping destination full of all the funky, eclectic, re-purposed and up-cycled collections that filled the homes of Joan, her friends and her quirky little shop in California. And, she wanted a fun and memorable name that left a smile on your face; thus Mrs. Pinkadot was born.Joan invited talented DIY'ers, painters, crafters and Vintage collectors to join her as vendors in Mrs. Pinkadot.
