Through this relationship, we utilize MSR's expertise and team to advance sustainable, technically driven solutions that help empower those in low-income economies throughout the developing world or in disaster-stricken situations.With the help of our world-class water research lab, the MSR Global Health team has developed the SE200™ Community Chlorine Maker. The soup-can sized device creates chlorine in just five minutes using simple resources: water, salt and electricity from a car battery. It allows users to efficiently treat 200 L (50 gal) of contaminated water, making it safe to drink.
