Getting the Job Done Where Others Can'tThe Mud Boss machine is an All-Terrain Amphibious Excavator that is able to work in all ground conditions. Our excavator is mounted on an all-terrain amphibious undercarriage with a 16 metre long reach boom. The boom can be fitted with a conventional rock or mud bucket, or used to power a hydraulic slurry pump.INNOVATIVEConventional methods of moving mud require coordinating several different pieces of equipment and operators which can be a logistical nightmare and cause cost blowouts. When a hydraulic slurry pump is connected to the long reach boom, the Mud Boss excavator can reach virtually any mud on site and move it using just one machine and operator. The job becomes quick, efficient and cost-effective.UNIQUELow mobilisation costs and quick unloading times mean that the Mud Boss machine can be at site and working within half an hour. The Mud Boss machine can walk off the transport float and go directly to work, no assembly required. After work is complete, the excavator is walked back onto the float and is simply driven offsite. Its narrow transport width of just 3.5m means that no escort or pilot vehicle is required on most public roads.VERSATILEThe Mud Boss excavator is able to work in muddy, swampy conditions where other machines would get bogged. It is able to work in water to a depth of 1.5m in standard configuration, and up to 5m with outrigger pontoons and hydraulic jacking legs attached.
