The Multicultural Development Center of Iowa (MDC Iowa) is a nonprofit organization with a mission to support underserved communities in Iowa by providing project-based STEM-related learning experiences and economic support to those who are historically underrepresented in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. MDC Iowa focuses on promoting a multicultural society where diversity is recognized as a strength and the underserved have the support of a community that encourages knowledge, respect, equity, and inclusivity. Our logo is inspired by those principles and represents the growth that we strive to achieve and the diverse, inclusive, connected, and economically strong communities that we support.
