Multilateral Markets is a privately owned company registered in Madrid, Spain. It was founded by Guy Richard Wallis in 2013 in order to promote the involvement of clients in development projects that are financed by multilateral institutions.Multilateral institutions invest more than US$ 200,000 million a year in thousands of development projects carried out in the emerging markets of Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe, Latin America, the Caribbean and certain Pacific islands.Participation in multilaterally-financed development projects is usually limited to contractors from the member countries of the multilateral institutions. Spain is a member of all of the world's largest multilateral institutions and so the multilateral market not only presents Spanish companies with unparalleled business opportunities but it also offers them a chance to participate in the rewarding task of improving the lives of the world's underprivileged.
