MultiMedia Crossing is a new systems and software venture with offices in Sunnyvale, Guangzhou, Hsinchu, and Seoul. The company's mission is to leverage its core skills in video interface, data networking and app development to launch innovative products to connect, distribute and control multimedia devices and content. By using the DiiVA protocol as the backbone of its systems, MultiMedia Crossing is able to deliver a combination of unsurpassed raw video bandwidth, data transport capacity for multiple protocols over a single low cost cable throughout the house. The middleware and application framework layered on top of the hardware provides consumers the ability to virtualize resources on the network and easily control any device within the DiiVA network from their TV, smartphone or tablet. The hardware systems are complemented by a set of easy-to-use tools to help installers and end-users intuitively setup and maintain their systems.
