Our mission is to be great at one thing: Managing building departments for cities in the Midwest. Our principals have spent decades managing building departments for municipalities in Michigan. As cities were suffering from the effects of the Great Recession, we realized that we can help these cities reduce costs, improve revenues, and offer higher service quality. And, it wasn't just us that realized that vision. The City of Melvindale, MI hired us to run their entire building department. Not only have we saved the city money, but we have since brought them steady revenue at no cost to them, improved service delivery levels, and provided them data and insights about their rental housing stock.
