Alphen-Chaam is a municipality in the province of North Brabant in the Netherlands. The town has 9,645 inhabitants (November 1, 2012, source: CBS) and has an area of 93.63 km ². The municipality was created on January 1, 1997 by merging the former municipalities of Alphen en Riel (Riel went over to the municipality of Goirle), Chaam and Nieuw Ginneken (southern part).
