Murphy Geological Services (MGS) provides a value for money, high quality satellite image interpretation (Landsat ETM+, ASTER, SPOT, QuickBird, IKONOS, WorldView) and structural analysis service to the mining and exploration industry. MGS has undertaken over 130 remote sensing and/or field analysis projects for gold, silver, copper, lead, zinc, uranium, diamonds, REE and PGE exploration in a wide range of tectonic settings across the World. Our clients include many of the leading international exploration and mining companies, as well as a large number of intermediate and junior exploration companies.2012 marked the Tenth Anniversary of the foundation of MGS and was our busiest year yet, with 15 projects completed including a regional study of the Maricunga Belt, Chile-Argentina for Gold Fields and a regional study of NW Anatolia for Eldorado Gold Corp.MGS specializes in the application of structural techniques to determine the controls on mineralization and the generation of predictive models that can be used to identify new exploration targets. We endeavour to provide results that are exploration orientated and can be easily understood and directly applied by the client's staff in the search for new resources.MGS was established in June 2002. Our principal consultant is Dr. Francis Murphy, PGeo, with 30 years experience as a structural geologist and over 22 years worldwide experience in the application of structural geology and remote sensing to mineral exploration.
