Civic & Social Organization - Bloomfield, New Mexico, United States
WHO WE AREThe Music Art Embassy Detroit is a collective platform for professional musicians and artists in support a healthy creative ecosystem. Creating critical partnerships in art, culture, and business, our artistic communities take part as ‘Ambassadors Of Culture' in cross-culture exchange through performance, events, and collaboration locally and around the world.MISSIONOur mission is to support a platform for working musicians to advocate on behalf of the music eco-system, to participate in international music tourism, and to create partnerships with businesses, art, and cultural programs, thereby strengthening the music/art community. We address issues concerning the success of the artistic community working and living in the area, through up-to-date information relating to opportunities. We offer events, news, and information about the challenging landscape of the music/art business, marketing, funding, tourism and digital technology. We encourage success locally and internationally through collaboration, as ‘Ambassadors of Culture,' connecting and strengthening our creative, cultural and economic communities.WHERE WE AREWe are building with a focus on a robust online web and mobile presence. We will use locations in and around the city for pop-up events, panels, performances, and fundraising, to create awareness, encourage membership and community and business support. We will support other businesses and locations, such as the Detroit Experience Factory until we expand into our own offices, performance space, and other location-based cultural and business ventures. We hope to be in the area of Detroit's developing entertainment district and ‘music hub' with foot traffic and culturally related activity, to continue to work together in partnership and support.SUMMARYThe Music Art Embassy Detroit is a collective platform for professional musicians/artists in support a healthy creative ecosystem, through cultural exchange, performances, events, collaborating locally and internationally as ‘Ambassadors Of Culture.'
