Housed in a landmark 1914 Tudor-style estate in Burlingame, CA, Music at Kohl has earned a reputation among professional musicians from around the globe as a favorite place to perform, for its superb acoustics, intimate ambiance, and enthusiastic audiences. The Music at Kohl concert experience is a delight from start to finish: before the concert, attend a free and fun talk by resident expert Kai Christiansen. Then, after the show, meet and mingle with the musicians and chat with friends over complimentary wine and delicacies in the historic Mansion's dining room and parlors.Since 1993, Music at Kohl has reached out to provide quality music education programs in local schools. Family and Children's Concerts have also become an essential part of Kohl programs, integrating a consistently outstanding series of artists and repertoire for audiences of all ages.
