Musiqtone was founded on September 22, 2002 by two students from Indiana's Purdue University and fellow suburban Chicago natives, Alan Ho (Hoffman Estates) and Peter Burke (Glenview) as MusicMania as an "accidental" class project for their English 101 class. We offer comprehensive coverage into the music world; covering the biggest and hottest names in music alongside the ones we think you should know about who are part of music's vibrant and expansive indie and underground scene. We also cover unsigned and the best kept secrets in music that we think everyone has to know about. Musiqtone also showcases many music videos, special features such as Artist of the Month and Video of the Week and we are the home of three of our biggest features: The Spotlight on the Musiqtone Blog, You Gotta Know and finally,.
