The inaugural Australian Muslim Film Festival will be two days of independent short films made by Muslims, or telling stories about Muslims, from all over in the world. Our first annual event of MFF will be limited to short films, from local and international entrants. Our iconic venues, the Backlot Theatres, located in the heart of Perth city, as well as in the cultural hub of Southbank, in Melbourne, are a popular host of independent film festivals and cultural events, with a dedicated art-loving audience. The festival is aiming to promote inclusion, tolerance, friendship and introduce Muslim society, culture and stories to as wide an audience as possible. Our festival was founded to support and promote Muslim filmmakers and content creators across the world. We recognise how difficult it is to get your short film out there, and find a platform where your film can reach the right audiences. We aim to promote and provide exposure to these films and organise a fun, morally-valued and culturally diverse night of independent cinema for filmmakers and cinephiles alike. Our program will reflect the diversity and opportunities within Muslim communities in the West and all over the world, through the short film genre, and our goal is to show films that the audience would otherwise have not seen, and leave a lasting impact. We look forward to seeing your submissions and welcoming you to Australia's first Muslim Film Festival!TO SUBMIT YOUR FILM PLEASE VISIT:https://filmfreeway.com/MuslimFilmFestival
