Mute® Sports Equipment began manufacturing Speed Jump Ropes in October, 2012 for fitness equipment because as athletes, we could not find what we were looking for in a Custom Jump Rope, so we created our own. Our names are Tim and Laura Nightengale and we own Mute Sports. Our ropes are manufactured in the USA. Being a family operated business, we pay attention to detail and quality is our top priority. In addition to jump ropes, we also sell a variety of other functional fitness equipment such as block chalk and liquid chalk, battle ropes, climbing ropes, leather hand grips, grasping cuffs, adaptive jump ropes and more!Mute Sports created the first Split Ropes™ on the market in February , 2017. The first Split Rope™ that he built in 2017 was the Calf Split Rope. As time went on, we saw a need for different weights as well as a need for Grip Assist. Now, we have 5 different weights ranging from 2 ounces per side to a whopping 2 pounds per side. There is a wide variety of people that we have encountered over the years that can utilize our adaptive Split Ropes. The uses and possibilities are endless. To add to our Mute Sports Ropes, we saw a need for CLEAN floors. That's where our Climbing Ropes make a difference. They are made of resin impregnated poly rope. With exceptional GRIP and flexibility, locking in and climbing is made more efficient. The extreme durability adds to the long life of our climbing ropes. In addition, there is no need for mounting brackets. The woven eyelet makes it easy to put the rope over and thread through the eye for easy mounting. Who wants to climb that high very often?
