The Poznań museum has been established since 1857. It has been called the National Museum since 1950.It is one of the oldest, largest, and most important museums in Poland.It stores and shares the heritage of centuries and generations from antiquity to the present day. The collections are presented in five museums in Poznań: the Gallery of Painting and Sculpture, the Museum of Applied Arts, the Museum of the History of the City of Poznań, the Museum of Musical Instruments, the Greater Poland Military Museum and the Ethnographic Museum, and three residences in Greater Poland: Palace in Rogalin, Castle in Gołuchów and Adam Mickiewicz Museum in Śmiełów.We consciously pay attention to social impact. Today, it has a chance to be realized in the virtual sphere as strongly as in the offline reality. Today, new media technologies are of great interest to museum professionals who use them to build museum exhibitions that are attractive to visitors.
