Mx. Lex Horwitz (they/them) is a queer, non-binary transmasculine LGBTQ+ Educator, Activist, Model, and Mental Health Advocate based in Philadelphia. Lex's advocacy work focuses on educating both queer folks and allies alike on LGBTQ identities, topics, and issues. Grounded in their belief that education is the tool for social change, Lex has found that there are many people who want to support transgender and gender non-conforming people but have not found a space that is safe, comfortable, and judgement-free to partake in queer education and effective allyship. Lex works to provide free resources in a welcoming space for all to engage in critical conversation about gender, sexuality, and other LGBTQ topics. Lex additionally organizes and runs multiple Urgent Need Transition Related Programs in order to make transitioning accessible to all folks regardless of their financial standing, social/familial support, and/or "out" status.
