⮚ What I Do ⮘I'm a freelance copyeditor, and I help indie authors get their fiction or non-fiction manuscript polished so it can be ready for publishing.Looking through the reader's eyes, I check for spelling, grammar, punctuation, and syntax to make sure the message is clear and there is nothing for the reader to trip over. Using the Chicago Manual of Style as a guide, I note the typos, spacing inconsistencies, spelling mistakes, punctuation problems, and capitalization errors; make comments to clarify grammar, style, and terminology; and point out variances of the voice, context, and continuity. I love the collaboration process with an author and the joy in bringing a finished work to publication. I make the process easy, and my goal is to help you to shine.⮚Types of Projects ⮘Mystery, thriller, detective, crime fiction, and true crime novels -- I'm obsessed with solving the puzzle and I love working on these types of manuscripts.
