My Friends' Place is a not-for-profit self-funded organisation providing affordable emergency & safe refuge accommodation to women and their children who are experiencing or are at risk of homelessness as a result of violence or abuse.Our goal was and continues to be about providing this accommodation and any assistance required to help women move on to the next stage of life.Each home has been lovingly and generously furnished by our local community, offering a safe, comfortable and supportive environment allowing each resident time to heal and put their lives back together at their own pace. We do not have any paid workers. Our amazing volunteers provide all kinds of support to our guests with each support plan designed specifically around individual needs.
