The specific genetic counselling services provided by MGC will only depend on who will be on the team. In other words, MGC will consider providing cancer genetic counselling services if it has an oncologist onboard for consultation services, and a genetic counsellor with related experience. MGC will only target patients that truly need genetic counselling by collaborating with suitable medical clinics, hospitals, and healthcare professionals across Canada. The online genetic counselling services will not be a replacement for primary/secondary care. Instead, the genetic counselling services will assist patients to manage stress linked to pre and post genetic testing.
