We are a movement that started as a single rally in downtown Toronto, ON. This event raised awareness around the Belgian Court Ruling that deemed it constitutional to ban the Hijab on university campuses. Unfortunately, Belgium was not the first country to make it legally permissible to ban Hijabs/Muslim women's veils, and they won't be the last. This is why we continue to fight beyond the protest, and will sustain action until every woman has the right to choose to wear her hijab.
