My NextLevel Tutor provides 1-on-1 in-home supplemental education support and tutoring in all academic subject areas.My NextLevel Tutor works with students of all ages. We remediate students who need academic support outside the classroom, and we challenge exceptional ones to reach their next level of skill development, competency and achievement. Our educational program engages students in active, collaborative learning that supplements classroom learning and emphasizes their development of the critical thinking skills necessary to build their self-confidence and independence for the application of their academic abilities to real-world concepts. Our tutoring program helps to fill in any foundational knowledge gaps while teaching learning strategies and study skills that ultimately help students to reach their academic goals for their classwork and subject examinations. While our approach to learning is informed by many skill-based and knowledge-based programs, we make sure to integrate the curriculum and resources your student's school already has in place. Collaboration with parents and teachers is also critical to our success. Our program incorporates the objectives outlined in the New York State Learning Standards, and our test preparation readies students for success on the New York State Regents Examinations.
