Matte B Photography was born a few years ago when some people asked me if they could buy the pictures I took at their sports event. Having never thought about it I said "Sure". Actually it started much earlier in the country of Papua New Guinea. I remember receiving a cheap old film camera (completely manual) and although I never had film for the camera (we had to send film to Seattle for processing) but I loved to take pictures of anything and everything. I eventually (in about 9th grade) was able to afford film and a camera and that is when I started taking photos "for real". The equipment has changed but the passion remains. Shooting with digital is a blast - instant gratification and instantly know what to change to get that great shot is so helpful. Whether you are looking to hire a photographer to remember an event (Family Reunion, Birthday, Party) or a milestone (Senior, Baby and Engagement/Wedding Portraits) we can help you out. We are best known for our sports packages - everyone hires a photographer for portraits. Now you can hire a photographer to take pictures of your kid doing something they love (and they might even smile)! All our packages include a license allowing you to print and share the photos wherever you like. We will even put them on Facebook for you.
