Engaging collective learning between researchers, educators, ministries of education, policymakers and private enterprise by sharing ideas and improving effectiveness in education reform.Motto: Poesy is Our Mother TongueMission Statement: Education unto Initiation"A corporate university is an educational entity that is a strategic tool designed to assist its parent organization in achieving its mission by conducting activities that cultivate individual and organizational learning, knowledge, and wisdom." - The Corporate University Handbook (AMACOM, 2002)Mycenae University is a legitimate and respectable corporate university* that has served the highly select needs of scholars, research institutes, learned societies and academicians for over 20 years, a pedigree evinced by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) and all quality WhoIs databases. As such, Mycenae University has operated privately since its inauguration in 1999, and its online intranet has been maintained exclusively for its degreed faculty and constituents—until now. In celebration of its 15th anniversary, Mycenae University is now planning its "grand opening" to the public. At the vanguard of Mycenae University's public initiatives are its newly founded learning alliance and the EduNym Project, enabling learners and educators with Mycenae University's .EDU Framework, an IT toolset to empower education reform.Note: The main Mycenae University website is being migrated to upgraded servers; www.mycenae.edu will redirect to this page in the interim. IT Services is still accessible at http://itservices.mycenae.edu as always.* The corporate university model has been implemented by for-profit and non-profit organizations alike. Mycenae University has coined the term "organic university," which is preferred for its avoidance of the for-profit connotation implicit in the word "corporate."
