Myeloma Canada Research Network (MCRN) is a non-for-profit research organization that develops and administers clinical research in partnership with pharmaceutical partners and academic research institutions in Canada. The primary goal of MCRN is to attract more myeloma research into Canada to provide more treatment options to patients and accelerate cure. MCRN's research activities are amplified by the creation of the a national database platform, which positions MCRN as one of the leaders in Real World Data (RWD) research in Multiple Myeloma and Related Diseases. MCRN's bench to bedside research strategy is complete by the creation of its correlative research platform, which is supported by MCRN national myeloma Biobank and the Database. The vision and mission statements are as follows.Vision: • Transform myeloma research in Canada to accelerate cureMission: • Develop and conduct innovative Phase I-III clinical trials and translational research in a collaborative manner aimed at improving patient outcomes in multiple myeloma and related diseases• Develop a correlative research platform supported by a national Biobank to advance the translational research capacity• Develop a national Multiple Myeloma database to position MCRN as a leader in Real World Data research and understand treatment patterns of myeloma patients in Canada• Publish evidence-based and peer reviewed consensus statements on the diagnosis and treatment of myelomaMCRN offices are located in the greater Toronto area (GTA).
