Since our inception in 1987 'Myka' has become one of the most prominent fashion jewellery collections in Canada, known for our innovative design and impeccable quality our collection features Swarovski Crystals, beads, pearls and semi precious stones. Drawn together during their Bachelor of Applied Arts Degree studies atToronto's Ryerson Polytechnical Institute, Maja Ilic and Michael Bremerrecognized their common appreciation for innovative design and naturalbusiness talents as a recipe for success. Combining Michael's passionfor quality workmanship and Maja's love of design, the couple's dreambecame a reality with the debut of the Myka Designs collection in 1987, when they turned their hobby into a part time business. Upon graduation in 1991, Maja and Michael pursued their visionto develop Myka into a full time business. The years to follow sawMyka Designs sold at notable retailers such as Holt Renfrew andNordstrom's and distribution in the UK, Germany and Russia.In 1996 Maja and Michael moved their business ‘home' to the west coastof Canada. Today, ‘Myka' is proudly designed and produced at the MykaDesigns Inc. head o¬ffice and production studio in beautiful Vancouver,Canada.Innovative design, clever engineering and impeccable quality have beenthe cornerstone of Myka.
