MYM Beauty is every Kiwi's favourite one-stop, beauty shop. MYM Beauty are official stockists of a wide range of world-class brands, including; L'Oréal Pais, Maybelline New York, NYX Professional Makeup, Ralph Lauren, Diesel, theBalm™ and so many more! MYM Beauty, with its tag line: "Shop Your Way" was the first online beauty retailer to allow customers to shop now but spread payments over 10 weeks, interest free, with the order leaving after the first payment.Sparked by an idea in 2013 after co-founder, Andrew Cardy, was out shopping with his girlfriend, Amy. They were in a local high-end makeup retailer and although Amy picked out seven products that she loved and could afford, she only purchased three. "It's a lot of money to spend on makeup at once." That got Andrew thinking. What if all girls could have it all now but pay later, interest free? Later that month Andrew caught up with co-founder, Jason Hawthorn. After many planning sessions and a marathon trip to New York City meeting suppliers, MYM Beauty was launched in July 2016. The first order arrived earlier that year and with no where else to put it, Andrew & Jason set up shop in the latter's garage. Working off one small, round glass table in a 30 square metre garage, surrounded by 5 shipping palettes, life was very much changed. With both co-founders coming from corporate backgrounds in Finance, Media & Retail, a makeup store was a little out of the ordinary. MYM Beauty worked with NZ's leading beauty influencer, Shannon Harris of Shaaanxo that same July and were blown away with the initial reaction. With 15,000 visitors in the first night and $100,000 in sales in the first two weeks, a customer service team were quickly employed and the company has been growing ever since. MYM Beauty now operates out of an Avondale based office & depot with full Support, Delivery, Marketing & Development Teams.MYM Beauty was a Best Emerging Business Finalist at the 2017 Westpac Business Awards.
