Myra Makes is a grassroots startup based in Boulder, Colorado and led by founder Eliot Kersgaard. Our mission is to help create a more playful and just society by enriching the lives of kids, families and teachers. We believe that every person has the capacity to contribute to a brighter future while meeting their needs and developing their passions. Taking inspiration from many traditions and theories, we envision a world in which curiosity and imagination strengthen throughout life. To bring these beliefs and visions to life, we create resources that help kids develop problem-solving, creative, and emotional skills. Our first product, funded by Kickstarter, is a create-your-own adventure book, Journey to Cloud City, with nature-based activities for problem solving and teamwork. Our next project is an invention-adventure board game which we are currently testing in classrooms and homes. We are actively seeking to grow our team and connect with teachers and families that are interested in testing out our latest products. In addition, we offer creativity and STEM-themed birthday parties in the Front Range of Colorado.
