Vendr is a simple and secure online marketplace where studentscan exchange goods and services within their own community. Thecompany was built by students, for students, to address their uniqueon-campus purchasing needs and habits. The founder and CEO, AndrewKrinsky, came up with the idea for Vendr while taking classes at UMBCin Baltimore, Maryland. He was frustrated by existing onlinemarketplaces that require cash exchanges with unknowns in potentiallydangerous areas of the city, or have hefty fees and shipping costs.
