Most of these wishes and goals are never reached for a variety of reasons, amongst which are social distractions, poor organizational tools and lack of sincere encouragement.We help people to solve this problem with a web and mobile application called Mywishguru. It helps users to frame vague wishes as achievable personal objectives, break them down into incremental steps and focus on achieving them socially – this is, with the help, guidance and encouragement of their friends. They can capture this journey in one place and share it across their social networks without ever losing any of the feedback which the sharing of their journey generates. All this information in one place tells the world a unique and original story. We also provide a platform whereby people can browse and see what their friends are trying to accomplish and so be able to help them achieve what is truly important to them. Some of us derive meaning from life and get a sense of self worth by helping others. Mywishguru is designed to make helping others just as appealing and rewarding as the pursuing of personal goals – helpers can be publicly rewarded and thanked by those who they help through a dedicated feature which we have modeled around the facebook like button – we call it the mywishguru thank you button.
