MÓDULO11 is an architectural practice based in Mexico City and founded in 2009 in Europe by Israel Alvarez and Mariana Tello.\After a working experience with Herzog & de Meuron in Basel Switzerland, Israel and Mariana decided to participate in the national competition for the Mexican Pavilion in Expo Shanghai 2010, winning the first prize.\MÓDULO11 is a transdisciplinary office involved in architecture, urban design, interior design and research.\The office has designed a wide range of projects from the small scale of a private home to the large scale of urban design.\The commitment of MÓDULO11 lies in professional explorations in design fields by transforming complex compositions into clear ideas, following a process that combines innovative ideas and efficient solutions.\The work of MÓDULO11 has been published and recognized nationally and internationally.\Currently the studio is working on projects in Mexico, Europe and China, whether by direct assignment or taking profit of its experience on international competitions.
