Mälardalens Datorförening (MDF) was established in 2003 as a student computer club at Mälardalens Högskola, however during the summer and fall of 2005 MDF decided to create an ISP to provide cheap internet connections for the students attending Mälardalens Högskola (MDH).MDF is a non-profit association with the goal to deliver cheap internet to students. The association's main purpose though, is to broaden the knowledge about computers, networks, and the Internet for students at MDH, and to create a space for likeminded people to meet. With the financial support of an ISP, MDF has the possibility to offer server space and hardware access for its members, that otherwise would have been too expensive.MDF is also a good source for knowledge and work experience for when the time comes to look for work.So if you feel like programming, working with Unix, playing games or just have someplace to meet people with the same interests, you are welcome to come by.
