Sustainable jewelry contributing to a better world!I decided to start my own jewelry brand because I never found jewelry that had a minimalistic style and a high quality look which was made out of recycled gold and silver. Many minimalistic jewelry brands that have beautiful designs only show the beauty of a shining piece of jewelry however they never show the less beautiful side of the silver- and gold mining industry. I want to increase the awareness of the harmful situations at the mines all over the world. With this jewelry brand I hope to inspire women that care about the world and want to wear high quality, sustainable jewelry with a minimalistic look and feel. Almost every part of a piece of jewelry will be made out of recycled gold and/or silver. In this way I would like to minimalize my footprint on this industry and let women literally wear a piece and contribute to a better world. I cannot change this industry on my own but I can at least try to raise the awareness for this industry when a customer buys a handmade piece of MP (Mélanie Pigeaud).
