The Company was first established in the early 1960's, and the "Møllerblokk" lifting block became a familiar brand that was sold in large numbers. The lifting blocks, more commonly referred to as "Møllerblokks", are still in production to this day. Having been in business for more than 50 years, Møllerodden has built a reputation for being a market leader of various sheaves, blocks and swivels. Møllerodden AS is owned by Brødrene Haukås Mek. Verksted AS, which for the past 40 years has been and still is Møllerodden's main sub-supplier and manufacturer.
