Sitting at the crossroads for nuclear security innovation, N Square works to identify, promote, and fund world-changing ideas that will end the threat of nuclear weapons. The effort is sponsored through a collaboration of five of the largest peace and security funders in the United States: the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, the Skoll Global Threats Fund, the Ploughshares Fund, and the Carnegie Corporation of New York.N Square believes that new forms of cross-sector collaboration—combined with the sheer ingenuity of an engaged public—will enable us to innovate our way to a world free from the threat of nuclear weapons. We know the next game-changing idea to make us all safer from nuclear threats could come from anywhere - so we seek, share and fund new ideas, diverse perspectives and a global range of actors.
