At N2Semantics we believe the future of apps is to make them smarter -- more aware of the world in which they operate to serve the needs and interests of their users. Our mission is to help companies determine the best approaches and technologies for adding semantic knowledge or meaning to their applications. Whether through manually-built ontologies, semantic web, analytics and machine learning based on big data, dynamically generated semantic networks, artificial intelligence, cognitive computing -- or combinations thereof -- semantics can provide added value and differentiation for both existing applications and emerging applications such as intelligent software agents or personal assistants. We think the time has come for applications to get into semantics and at N2Semantics we help our clients, in particular Web, mobile and social start-ups and enterprises, do that in innovative and informed ways.The name N2Semantics has two meanings. First, it simply conveys that we are "into" the field of semantics and believe our clients will benefit from employing semantic technologies in their applications and products. Second, it refers to N200 or N2 semantics in the field of cognitive science. Those are the neural components of the brain responsible for cognition, including language processing.
