Nabis Filmgroup was created in March of 2010 in Buenos Aires and is a production house focused on auteur films in South America. Since its creation our films have been shown at festivals around the world. In 2012 a branch in Salzburg, Austria, was established wich serves as a link between International producers and Sales and the Latinamerican Film market. Each strives to showcase innovative and visually stunning productions that contribute to the extensive independent production opportunities within Latin America. We creatively produce feature films and documentaries from emerging talents that maintain a specific vision and style that we can call our own. Nabis is currently developing several First feature films which received prices and support of institutions like the BAFICI BAL, Hubert Bals Fund, INCAA, San Sebastian Film Festival, Binger Filmlab and Typa amongst others. In addition, Nabis Filmgroup provides production services for International productions arriving to South America. Most recently, we were involved in the local production of the South American unit shooting of Heinz Emigholz's lastest documentary series entitled The Decay of Modernism, shot in January of 2012 in Argentina and Uruguay.
