Nagan Johnson was formed in 1999 by architect Michael Johnson and interior designer Deborah Nagan. Their works to date include many residential schemes including refurbishments and extensions to houses in London and the rural areas surrounding, educational buildings and artists' studios.Nagan Johnson have a keen interest in using high-quality materials that will ensure the longevity, quality, and integrity of the building well into the future. Finding new ways to use traditional materials and understanding how to detail them well embeds the building in the local context and ensures it is recognised as contemporary and not pastiche. Nagan Johnson designs intelligent spaces in historic and physically challenging sites, both as new build and amendments to existing buildings.Nagan Johnson is a small architectural practice forming a closely-knit team.
