Nand Ghar, an Anil Agarwal Foundation initiative is a CSR initiative undertaken by Vedanta in partnership with the Ministry of Women and Child Development (GOI), early childhood education and empowerment of women through skill learning is our core focus area along with our aim to enhance the healthy growth of children and women by providing the right nutrition and facilitating regular healthcare check-ups.Our vision is to transform the lives of 8.5 Cr children and 2 Cr women across 13.7 lakh Anganwadis in India through Nand Ghars, fulfilling Hon. Prime Minister's commitment towards Swacch Bharat, Beti Pachao Beti Padhao and Startup India by equipping Nand Ghars with televisions for e-learning, solar panels for reliable power, safe drinking water and clean toilets.We have a more than 1,000 Nand Ghars operating across Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh & Odisha that facilitate in the healthy development of children and progressive empowerment of women.With us, more than 34,000 children are availing pre-school learning through advanced teaching methodologies and more than 20,000 women are learning entrepreneurial skills. Not only this, we cater to the health of more than 20,000 and nutrition of 34,000 community members respectively.Our mission is to remain committed to the Prime Minister's national vision of eradicating child malnutrition, providing education, healthcare and empowering women with skill development.Contact us at - nandghar@vedanta.co.in
