Napenda Kuishi Rehabilitation Program is a Trust registered in Kenya, and based in Korogocho slum, in Nairobi (Nairobi County). The name comes from the kiswahili words "Napenda Kuishi", which mean "I want to live"; it was chosen directly by the street children in rehabilitation, at the time of the foundation of the Trust (2006).The Trust comprises four programs for rehabilitation of street children and adult alcoholics. These programs are: (1) Napenda Kuishi Rehabilitation Program: drop-in center for street children, based in Korogocho; (2) Napenda Kuishi Rehabilitation Program Alcoholics Anonymous: drop-in center for adult alcoholics, based in Korogocho;(3) Napenda Kuishi Home: residential rehabilitation center for street children, based in Kibiko (Ngong, Kajiado North County);(4) Utulivu Center: residential rehabilitation center for adult alcoholics, based in Kibiko (Ngong, Kajiado North County).The Trust collaborates very closely with Boma Rescue Center, for the rehabilitation of street boys and girls, situated at the border with the infamous dumping site of Dandora (Nairobi).
