Napiers the Herbalists supplies herbal medicines, herbal food supplements, herbal skin care, natural beauty products and aromatherapy products. We provide health food stores, pharmacies and consumers in the UK and all over the world. Napiers was founded in 1860 by the eminent Victorian botanist, Duncan Napier. It continued in the family for several generations and brought into the 21st century by medical herbalist Dee Atkinson MNIMH MCPP who practices at Napiers Edinburgh Clinic. Under CEO, Monica Wilde, the business has grown and licensed our herbal medicines to comply with EU legislation, with 24 practitioner-strength, combination formulas THR licenses. Our Napiers original formulas and skincare are sold throughout the world, both direct to consumers from our mail order service and through our distribution company Rickard Lane's and WH Box Ltd. Through practitioner affiliates, there are Napiers shops & complementary medicine clinics in Edinburgh and Glasgow. Napiers qualified herbalists & practitioners see around 22,000 patients a year in our clinics and provide herbal dispensary services. Duncan Napier's founding vision was to make safe, affordable herbal medicine available to all. We are still passionately committed to providing this choice today; offering safe, cost-conscious over the counter herbal remedies and supporting Napiers clinics as centres for alternative medical excellence.
