Administration of estates; landlord and tenant disputes (such as rent arrears and evictions); debt collection; labour-related disputes (such as unfair dismissal, unpaid leave, maternity leave disputes, wage disputes, disputes on workplace conditions), including representation in the labour court, bargaining councils and CCMA; personal injury (e.g. defamation of character); delictual claims (such as claims for damages arising from road traffic accidents, claims against the Road Traffic Fund); claims for damages to property; commercial/corporate litigation (such as breach of contract, contractual disputes, claims for damages caused by a company or organ of state, insolvency, liquidation, debt recovery, business rescue, facilitating commercial transactions such as contracts of sale and property law disputes (such as ownership), solutions to high-risk business structuring for small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) owners, disputes between shareholders and directors, facilitating business transactions and advising on compliance with legislation regulating the relationships between suppliers and consumers, and establishing a litigation strategy either to settle the matter out of court or to to approach a court to resolve the problem; and any dispute relating to family law/matrimonial law (anything relating to domestic relationships such as marriage, civil unions, partnerships, cohabitation agreements, divorce, annulment, child custody, paternity, surrogacy, artificial insemination, post-natal arrangements, foster care/foster agreements, maternity disputes, guardianship of a minor or physically/mentally incapacitated person, determining the best interests of the child, spousal and/or child maintenance, parental rights and responsibilities agreements, child and/or spousal abuse and domestic violence (protection orders).
