NAREJJISUTOAKnowledge is Intersectional!People's lives and the organisation of power in any given society, are shaped not by a single axis of division, but many that work together and influence each other. Intersectionality is the belief that oppressions are interlinked and cannot be addressed in isolation. The vision of Narejjisutoa is, thus, to analyse and understand complexity, nuance, power or the lack thereof social positioning or locations, structures and stratification under the broad theme of ‘intersectionality'.Intersectionality is a way of understanding and analysing the complexity of social inequalities. The mission of Narejjisutoa is to foster learning that is freely accessible to all. Since Social Sciences touch upon a myriad range of subjects, this forum aims to be a ‘knowledge store' (as the name ‘Narejjisutoa' suggests) through holistic engagement. The aim is to create a ‘reflective learning system', wherein the forum would be open to addressing a plethora of intersectional issues.
