The Saga of Nasr is the story of the struggle, the courage, the zeal and the firm determination of one lady, Begum Anees Khan who was inspired to start a small school to meet the needs of the community. The first step towards the fulfilment of a cherished dream was taken one sunny morning – June 12th 1965. With the help of Janaba Raees Hassan and Begum Najumuddin Khan, the school took shape.Nasr School which started with just 12 students and 3 staff members has grown rapidly without sacrificing standards and has today a total strength of 7,000 students and 600 staff members.The Nasr Education Society is a registered society that manages and runs the Nasr Group of Institutions, namely- the Nasr School, Khairtabad (established in 1965); the Nasr Boys School, Gachibowli (established in 1998); the Nasr School Pre-Primary, Somajiguda (established in 1986); the Nasr School Pre-Primary, Gachibowli (established in 2016) & Nasr Literacy Centre, Somajiguda (established in 1998). The Nasr Education Society is headed by Chairperson & Founder- Begum Anees Khan & Secretary- Nawab Mir Khutubuddin Khan. In these last 55 years of Nasr's foundation, Nasr has swiftly evolved from being a small school in Khairtabad to a world-class and acclaimed brand. It has withered all storms and is one of the oldest and premium institutions in India. The School is affiliated to Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) and follows the ICSE and ISC curriculums.
