Warm greetings from National Alliance of Disabled Peoples Organizations (NADPO). NADPO is a non-profit making, non-political and non-government Organization. NADPO is national platform organizations of Disabled Peoples' Organization ( DPOs) across the country, Bangladesh run and managed by persons with disabilities. NADPO represents DPOs/assemblies of disabled people in Bangladesh. NADPO was established on 30 July, 2005 to promote human rights of disabled people through full participation, equalization of opportunity and up-lifting. NADPO was establish with the initiative of a group of like minded Disabled Peoples' Organizations (DPOs) and NADPO is carrying out advocacy program in promoting and safeguarding the rights of the Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) in the light of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD). Currently, 98 DPOs across the country are active.
